This state of the art £20 million training facility at Lillyhall Business Park in Workington was recently opened by Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change - Ed Miliband.
Comprising of engineering workshops, a lecture and conference theatre and meeting and educational suites, this facility is now the flagship centre for nuclear skills development within the UK.
As a Komfort registered contractor, F. Brown plc installed double glazed Komfort Polar partitions with integral blinds, to form twenty two shielded office zones. The Polar partitions allow light to flood through the workplace to create an atmosphere of space whilst providing excellent acoustic properties. Bespoke curved glazing pods with sliding privacy screens were also installed.
