A £250,000 fit-out project within the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire was recently completed by personnel from F. Brown plc’s Scotland office. Working as sub-contractors for ROK, an extended leisure area with luxurious Spa was created within this 5 Star Hotel complex.
Works undertaken included the installation of Rockwool fire barriers, British Gypsum partitions and separating wall systems utilising Gyproc solid wall and curved wall construction. Additionally, high performance systems including Gyproc Shaftwall, Gypwall Audio and Gypliner independent wall linings were also fitted.
The suspended ceiling installation covered a variety of systems including Armstrong Prelude suspension system with mineral fibre tiles and British Gypsum MF Casoline system with glass rock boards forming the feature bulkheads and coffers. The main Spa area required the erection of a fully moisture resistant ceiling installation, which was erected with a Richter metal support system boarded with a Promat Masterboard.
