With Emirates increasing the number of flights to Dubai and the A380 Airbus having commenced flights between Manchester and the Middle East, the airline enhanced its facilities with a new ticket desk and re-furbished office area.
F. Brown plc carried out works installing new ceilings, partitions and flooring, with a bespoke reception desk, furniture and signage completing the transformation.
Additionally, a back of house corridor was created to service the new Executive Lounge. Works lasting six weeks included robust firewalls, new floors, doors and a covered entrance canopy.
Adaptations to the Baggage Reclaim area consisted of merging carousels to accomodate approximately 500 passengers collecting luggage from the new wide bodied aircraft.
